We tailor all of our chemical peel procedures so that each and every person that walks through our doors gets a treatment that is right for their specific skin concern. A chemical peel is the application of a solution to your skin – usually for the face, neck, décolletage and hands. The solution will improve the specific skin concern that you are dealing with.
This solution works to remove the dead and damaged skin from the top layer. It is an ideal treatment if you want to help improve the appearance of wrinkles, pigmentation marks, acne scars and generally help to give a boosted appearance of your skin. As old, dead skin cells are removed, the skin is able to produce fresh skin cells to give you a fresher, rejuvenated complexion.

Why should I have a Chemical Peel?
We’re all aware of the benefits of regularly exfoliating the skin, but there’s only so much that you can achieve at home. A chemical peel works on the same principle of exfoliation but is done without any harsh abrasive rubbing. Furthermore, the chemical peel solution can achieve much greater results than any at home exfoliation can.
If you want to see instant results on your skin, and experience a treatment that is tailored to your own skin concerns, a chemical peel treatment makes perfect sense. Whether you’re suffering from wrinkles, fine lines, acne scarring, sun damage, pigmentation marks, bad skin texture, or facial folds, a chemical peel treatment can help.
Those surface layers of dead skin cells are whisked away by the solution so that the skin below is freed up to produce new, fresh skin cells. The result? Skin that appears brighter, with less lines, better texture, skin marks and scars that aren’t so noticeable, and overall generally more youthful and improved.
We use a variety of chemical peels at our treatment centres because everyone is different. Common skin complaints can be tackled instantly with our chemical peels, but it depends on your particular issue as to which chemical peel is right for you. With that in mind, we take time to understand exactly what issues you’d like to address so that we can deliver a treatment that you’ll be truly happy with.
A chemical peel treatment is a relatively quick procedure. It starts with one of our skincare experts cleansing and prepping your skin. After this, the chemical peel solution is gently applied to your skin and left for just a couple of minutes. Once the solution has been left on long enough, it will be neutralised and removed.
During this time, the chemical peel solution will have ‘sucked up’ all of your skin’s dead and damaged cells so that the skin below can work to produce fresh, new skin cells which will give you the healthy skin you’re looking for. Your Este Medical skincare specialist will talk you through the relevant aftercare so that you can get the most out of the treatment and enjoy the results for as long as possible.

A chemical peel treatment is relatively quick. When you come in for your consultation we’ll check your skin with our Skin Scanner UV system so that we can ascertain which chemical peel is right for you. The actual procedure itself doesn’t take long at all. We will cleanse and prep your skin, then apply the peel, wait a few minutes for it to do its work, then neutralise it and remove.
What Sort Of Results Can I Expect?
Results vary from person to person, and are also dependent on the type and depth of the chemical peel applied. You can expect to see a significant improvement to skin concerns such as acne, scarring, sun damage and ageing signs. Your skin will also look brighter and revitalised.
