What Is EMFACE Treatment? 

During a non-invasive EMFACE procedure you will not experience any discomfort, and the treatment only lasts about 20 to 30 minutes. For the treatment your therapist will strategically place skin-safe padded electrodes on the surface of your face, typically one is on the forehead and two are over your cheeks.

‍Does EMFACE Hurt? 

People do not report pain with this treatment. When the padded electrodes are on the face you might feel a slight warming sensation as radio frequency (i.e., RF energy) is emitted, and the high intensity facial electromagnetic stimulation (HIFES) may cause your facial muscles to scrunch or contract, but this is part of the EMFACE process, and it is not considered a painful procedure.
