A Cause Close to Many: Alzheimer’s Research & Local Heroes
At a recent match held at Southampton FC, Sellebrity Soccer rallied support for Alzheimer’s Research UK, following the news of Pauline Quirke MBE’s diagnosis with dementia. Organised on behalf of her son, Charlie Quirke, and the Quirke family, the event brought together the community in an emotional show of support.
The atmosphere was electric, and the purpose powerful, reminding everyone in attendance that football can be about far more than goals. It can be about raising awareness, standing together, and bringing hope.
At other matches, funds were raised for Helping Hands Barnet, a community charity, and for Gorgeous George’s One Big Fight, supporting a brave child’s battle with cancer. These causes hit home for so many and Este Medical Group is proud to be part of the solution.
